What does it do?

Switches and indicators

  • Thumbwheel 1 - device-number switch
    • 1: device 0, dev.no (octal) 140000, Ident code (octal) 140000
    • 2: device 1, dev.no (octal) 140010, Ident code (octal) 140001
    • 3: device 0, dev.no (octal) 141400, Ident code (octal) 140140
    • 4: device 0, dev.no (octal) 141410, Ident code (octal) 140141
    • 5: device 0, dev.no (octal) 141420, Ident code (octal) 140142
    • 6: device 0, dev.no (octal) 141430, Ident code (octal) 140143
    • 7: device 0, dev.no (octal) 141440, Ident code (octal) 140144
    • 8: device 0, dev.no (octal) 141450, Ident code (octal) 140145
  • LED 6 (yellow) : SYC - system-controller switch in ON position
  • LED 5 (yellow) : REMOK - REMote OK, remote option in fumction
  • LED 4 (yellow) : DMACT - DMA ACTive
  • LED 3 (red)  : ERROR - Z80 microprogram has detected an error
  • LED 2 (green)  : FIFO - First-In-First-Out register is empty
  • LED 1 (green)  : RFT - Ready for transfer
  • System-controller switch
    • switch ON: ND-100 is system controller
    • switch OFF: ND-100 is NOT system controller

Connectors

The A and B connectors are used for I/O, the C connector is used for the ND-100 Bus.

Here is a list of known ECO's (Engineering Change Order) for this card.

  • ECO 100-755 - Only valid with remote-box. May loose data. Status: REMOTE BOX NOT CONNECTED.[2]
  • ECO 100-784 - May give various errors as ERROR 70, 72, 73[2]
