Probably SINTRAN III VS

History

  • Donated to FUN, Umeå.
  • Sitting in a basement storage until may 2009.
  • Donated to me in 2009

Location

The system belongs to Göran Axelsson and is located in storage outside of Umeå, Sweden.

Future plans

  • Make an in depth analyze of the system, check which cards are installed, check the cabling to find out which cards once were installed and if I got spare, add the missing cards to it.
  • The hard disk is in locked position, adding a note here to not forget unlocking it.
  • Test the hardware, especially the hard disk.
  • See if I can use any of my spare 8" floppy drives and install it.
  • If the disk is working, make an image of it and extract the system password.

I will try to put this system and it's twin into working order some time in the future. There will be metal parts missing so I need to do some fabrication to get it perfect.
