A segment is a physically or virtually contiguous address area residing on mass storage. The address area contains an image of the memory. Segments in the ND-100 are placed on the segment files, eg., SEGFIL0:DATA. Segments consist of an arbitrary number of contiguous 1 Kword pages. The size is limited to a maximum of 128 pages[1].
