serial to TCP/IP converter

A serial to TCP/IP converter sounds interesting. Do you have a specific product in mind? --Torfinn (talk) 10:47, 21 February 2019 (UTC)

Oops, copy and paste error. That text should have been edited. But the plan for connecting a ND-computer to the web is true, maybe not this one at first.
There are a couple of products out there, but I was planning to use a ESP8266 with a bit of software added. Someone made a serial-wifi gateway with one and posted it on the net. For example this one, Hackaday wifi serial bridge --Gandalf (talk) 11:35, 21 February 2019 (UTC)
Aha, kind of like the RS-232 WiFi modem projects. Neat! --Torfinn (talk) 13:14, 21 February 2019 (UTC)
