@STOP-TERMINAL <logical device no.>

Force @LOGOUT on a specific terminal.

<logical device no.>
(decimal) must be a terminal.

Rules:

  1. Permitted only for user SYSTEM.
  2. The message **ABORTED BY SYSTEM** is printed on the specified terminal.
  3. In some cases the background program hang in an internal "escape off" state. @STOP-TERMINAL cannot then be used. Instead the other users should log off and SINTRAN should be restarted.
  4. If the command has no effect on a terminal @ABORT BAK can be used, but with care as in a few cases this might stop the system.

Example:

@STOP-TERMINAL 8

Terminal 8 will be logged out.
