Technovision was a CAD / CAM system, complete with screen and dedicated drawing table.

The Technovision system were developed for the German company Dietz[1][2][3]. Norsk Data acquired 80% of the shares in Dietz in 1983 and in 1986 it took possession of the rest of the company[4][5]. Up until 1993 the company operated under the name Norsk Data Dietz GmbH. In 1993 the company was sold to Intergraph.

The cost of a new Technovision system was 600.000 NOK.
