SCSI controller chip - NCR 5386

The NCR 5385 family consists of the following members:

first family member, max transfer speed 2.5 Mbps (theoretical)

"stop gap" measure to NCR 5386 customers
NCR 5386
superset of NCR 5385 / 85E, production from March 1985
NCR 5386S
NCR 5386 + synchronous operation to 3 Mbytes / sec
