COMMUNICATION-STATUS

@COMMUNICATION-STATUS <output file>, <remote line number>

List the following for a communication line:

1. "LOCAL DEVICE NUMBER" the line number on the other side of the channel.
2. the logical device number for each channel on each side of the line "BACKGROUND" means the channel has a background program.
3. "NUMBER OF CONSECUTIVE FRAMES RETRANSMITTED ALLOWED".
4. "NUMBER OF CONSECUTIVE NACKS SENT ALLOWED".
5. "SEQUENCE ERRORS", messages received out of sequence.
6. "NACKS SENT", frames retransmitted since last ack sent.
7. "NACKS RECEIVED", nacks received since last ack sent.
8. "FRAMES RETRANSMITTED", the number of different frames retransmitted due to one or more NACK or timeout since communication started.
9. COMMUNICATION RUNNING or COMMUNICATION DEAD.

<output file>

(default = terminal) destination of the list.

<remote line number>

(decimal, default = 1 if system is configured with only one line) remote line.

Rules:

1. Permitted for all users.
2. The command does not affect the communication.
