This is an introduction to operation and daily maintaining of NORD-10/S and NORD/50 systems. Written for daily operation of the system.

ND-30.003 SINTRAN III System Supervisor

This manual is a guide for system supervisors administering data centers. Written for daily operation of the system. It contains information on how to start various hardware, doing warm start, managing disk space, making backups, managing users, ... It also contains a chapter on loading and using test programs.

Appendix C contains a list of device names. Appendix D contains an example of a disk layout. Appendix E contains the system layout of physical memory. Appendix F and G contains the logical and physical layout of the disk system. Appendix K contains information of how to set the thumbwheel on the ND-100 CPU ALD and for the address and baudrate of 8-terminal interface cards (3013).

ND-30.005 TEST PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS

This manual describes the test programs used on ND-100, NORD-10/S, NORD-10 and NORD-12 computers. The manual consists of three parts. The first part contains a detailed description of the FLOPPY MONITOR and the TEST PROGRAM MONITOR. 15 chapters describes the 15 tests contained on the test floppy 1, ND-10324E, the most commonly used tests. The next part covers the 27 tests contained on the test floppy 2, ND-10325B. The last part covers the tests on the test floppy 3, ND-10326B. The manual is written for maintenance personnel working on ND-100 or NORD-10 systems.

This manual seems to be a reworked version of the ND-30.005 TEST PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS. It describes the test programs used on ND-100/ND-110 computers. The manual consists of three parts. The first chapter contains a detailed description of the TPE-monitor. Chapter 2-20 describes the test programs and the last chapter describes the utility programs. The manual is written for maintenance personnel working on ND-100 or ND-110 systems.
