3034 is a 256 K memory module.

Introduction

256 K word (512 Kbyte) memory for a ND-100 machine.

Switches and indicators

From top of the card

  • upper limit display

Sets the memory address range of the card, these are in octal.

    • TH3:0, TH2:0, TH1:0-3 - upper limit display: 020 - memory address range: 0 - 256 K
    • TH3:0, TH2:0, TH1:4-7 - upper limit display: 024 - memory address range: 64 - 320 K
    • TH3:0, TH2:0, TH1:0-3 - upper limit display: 030 - memory address range: 128 - 384 K
    • TH3:0, TH2:0, TH1:0-3 - upper limit display: 034 - memory address range: 192 - 448 K
    • TH3:0, TH2:0, TH1:0-3 - upper limit display: 040 - memory address range: 256 - 512 K
    • TH3:0, TH2:0, TH1:0-3 - upper limit display: 044 - memory address range: 320 - 576 K
    • TH3:0, TH2:0, TH1:0-3 - upper limit display: 050 - memory address range: 384 - 640 K

  • T6 - yellow LED - 192-256 KW access indicator
  • T5 - yellow LED - 128-192 KW access indicator
  • T4 - yellow LED - 64-128 KW access indicator
  • T3 - yellow LED - 0-64 KW access indicator
  • T2 - red LED - error detected indicator
  • T1 - red LED - error correction disabled indicator
  • ENABLE / DISABLE switch
    • 0 - disabled - disables the error correction indicator (T1) and clears the error detected indicator (T2).
    • 1 - enabled - enables the error detected indicator (T2).

Connectors

The A and B connectors are used for I/O, the C connector is used for the ND-100 Bus.
