Interesting directory size

711 pages - I haven't seen that before. I wonder if is caused by a bad image, or something else? Torfinn (talk) 20:26, 14 April 2019 (UTC)

I'm a little worried about the FluxEngine images. I see several :brf files with illegal brf codes and other errors, and strange sections in some of the :prog files. I'm not done analysing yet, one problem is that I don't have other copies of the same files that I am sure are the same. The nearest is the ditap:prog file (on one image) which has a zeroed first page, but that .prog file doesn't have a version ID so I'm not certain if it's the same as my ditap-1880d:prog. The code is exactly the same though.. (fortunately the start instruction is _after_ that first page). But that program actually works, so there's nothing conclusive yet.--TArntsen (talk) 10:34, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
I think that the single-sided (format 0b) images probably are ok, I extracted files from one of those yesterday and they looked ok. However, the double-sided (format 17b) images are likely broken / corrupt, even if the directory is readable. The author of FluxEngine is going to get a logic analyzer so he can better understand why FluxEngine fails on HD floppies. It will take a few weeks before we know more. Yes, I also concluded that the single-sided images are ok. -- TArntsen (talk) 13:17, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
Added some pictures of the PD for Games, don't know if it will tell you something more but I did it just for fun. ;-) I'll scan and add the PD later, the disk is probably in the house at the moment. --Gandalf (talk) 12:01, 16 April 2019 (UTC)
